Fresh microgreens have up to 40 times the nutritional density of mature plants.
We started growing microgreens because we were unhappy with our store bought greens. I felt like half the time we would open a new box and they would be wilted and stinky. That frustration led to so many questions. Where were they grown? What chemicals were used? How long was it on the truck, in the store room, on the shelf?
We don’t use any pesticides, herbicides, or any other cides for that matter. Our process is natural and sustainable, exactly how we all want to eat them.
*A note about the word “organic”. This use of this word is restricted to farms that are certified USDA. While we use practices and materials that are in line with this, including the use of organically certified soil, we are a small operation and have not been certified and therefore do not refer to our produce as organic for that reason.
